About the Role
Biomend Lifesciences is looking for a Genomic Science Specialist who will serve as the scientific face of the company. This is a dynamic role that combines scientific expertise, communication, and business engagement to bridge the gap between our advanced genomic & microbiome services and the medical community.
The ideal candidate will inspire confidence among clinicians, educate stakeholders, and actively contribute to business development efforts that drive the adoption of precision medicine.
Key Responsibilities
Scientific Communication & Support
• Educate clinicians, doctors, and healthcare professionals on Biomend’s genomic and microbiome services.
• Translate complex scientific data into clear, impactful communication for both medical and non-medical audiences.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on integrating genomic solutions into clinical practice.
Marketing & Sales Engagement
• Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute targeted outreach campaigns.
• Represent Biomend at scientific conferences, workshops, and healthcare events.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clinicians, hospitals, and diagnostic partners.
• Support sales activities by transforming scientific discussions into collaborative opportunities.
Strategic Contribution
• Act as the critical link between research, technology, and the medical community.
• Gather and share insights from clinicians and customers to inform product development and service improvements.
Qualifications
• MSc/M.Tech in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Genomics, or related Life Sciences discipline.
• Strong scientific foundation with excellent ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and confidently.
• Outstanding interpersonal, networking, and presentation skills.
• Prior experience in genomics, diagnostics, or molecular biology preferred (not mandatory).
• Exposure to marketing, sales, or customer engagement is an advantage.
• Freshers with strong communication skills and enthusiasm are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates must be based in Kerala.
