Life Sciences Project Associate Job – Position Details

• Post: Project Associate II (Biotechnology/Microbiology/Molecular Biology)
• Number of Vacancies: 01
• Location: RCB, Faridabad, Haryana
• Age Limit: 35 years (Relaxation as per GoI norms)
• Tenure:
  Initially one year (extendable, co-terminus with the project)
• Eligibility Criteria
  • Essential Qualification
    • Master’s degree in Biotechnology/Agricultural Sciences/Natural Sciences
      OR
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology with specialization in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Molecular Biology from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in R&D in Industrial/Academic Institutions or Science & Technology organizations.
    • Desirable Skills
    • Experience in regulatory affairs, biosafety, and biotechnology product validation will be preferred.
• Fellowship / Emoluments
  • ₹35,000 + HRA per month – for candidates who have qualified:
    • CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship), OR
    • GATE, OR
    • National-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments & their agencies.
  • ₹28,000 + HRA per month – for others who do not fall under the above category.

Life Sciences Project Associate Job – Roles & Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

• Assist the CSO/Coordinator, BSU, and other scientific staff in regulatory affairs and protocol validation.
• Draft technical and regulatory documents in line with government standards.
• Communicate with stakeholders and maintain program databases.
• Support risk assessment and preparation of biosafety/biosecurity guidelines.
• Participate in training, workshops, and capacity-building initiatives.
• Stay informed about the latest scientific and regulatory developments in biotechnology.
• Provide technical expertise and support on biosafety-related issues.
