Life Sciences Junior Research Fellow – Position Details
- Designation: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Number of Vacancies: 1

- Monthly Compensation:
- Rs. 37,000 + HRA for candidates selected through GATE/CSIR-UGC NET or other national-level exams conducted by central government departments.
- Rs. 31,000 + HRA for candidates not under the above selection category.
- Duration: 7 months (initial, extendable based on performance and funding)
- Age Limit: 28 years (relaxation as per government norms for SC/ST/OBC, women, and PwD candidates)
- Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Qualification:
- M.Tech in any area of Life Sciences/Biotechnology
- MSc in Life Sciences/Biotechnology or allied areas
- BTech/BPharm/B.E. (4-year program) in Life Sciences/Biotechnology or allied areas
- BVSc or MBBS with a minimum of 60% marks
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in molecular cloning
- Experience working with model organisms such as yeast and/or Drosophila
- Prior research experience in related areas will be preferred
- Minimum Qualification:
Responsibilities
- Execute molecular biology experiments as per project requirements.
- Perform data analysis, documentation, and interpretation.
- Ensure adherence to laboratory safety and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in reporting findings and maintaining detailed research records.
