Project Details
The Agharkar Research Institute invites applications from eligible candidates for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under the DBT project titled “Endo-lysosomal pathway mediated regulation of transsynaptic signaling at the Drosophila synapse.” The project is coordinated by Dr. A. Ratnaparkhi (Scientist-F) and offers a stimulating research environment in the field of Developmental Biology.

Life Sciences JRF Opening – Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications:
- Integrated MSc (BS/MS) in Life Sciences, Zoology, Biotechnology, or Microbiology with at least 55% marks.
- Qualified in CSIR/UGC/ICMR (JRF/LS), GATE, DBT, DST, MoE, or equivalent national-level examination.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Research interest in Developmental Biology.
- Experience with Drosophila or other model systems.
- Strong quantitative and experimental skills.
Fellowship & Age Limit
- Stipend: ₹37,000/- + HRA (as per DBT norms).
- Age Limit: 28 years as on the closing date (relaxations as per the Govt. of India rules).
