Quality Specialist Job at Novartis – About the Role

As an R&D Quality Specialist, you will:

  • Manage user access for critical applications, including provisioning, modification, and deactivation, in accordance with compliance standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and update training materials and user guides for application usage and QA processes.
  • Author and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for application management and QA workflows.
  • Provide end-user onboarding support, training, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to resolve access issues and coordinate enhancements.
  • Oversee document management and archival, ensuring GXP compliance.
  • Handle CAPAs, change controls, and investigations, ensuring timely closure.
  • Maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with audits and regulatory requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.

Quality Specialist Job at Novartis – Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years in QA, IT support, document management, or regulated pharma roles.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of compliance, data integrity, and document management.
    • Proficiency in SOP authorship, quality event ownership, and CAPA handling.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred: Experience with pharma application onboarding, training, and audit preparation.
