About the Role
Elucidata is seeking a Data Quality Analyst to join its delivery team in Delhi or Bangalore. This role focuses on AI-assisted curation, API scraping, data modelling, and schema creation for multi-omics datasets. Candidates seeking life sciences jobs or Bioinformatics jobs can apply and will work with transcriptomics, proteomics, single-cell omics, and clinical datasets to ensure the harmonization of high-quality data.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, curate, and annotate biological datasets from diverse omics/clinical sources, including transcriptomics, proteomics, H&E, clinical trials, and single-cell data.
- Use APIs and AI tools to automate and improve dataset curation workflows.
- Design and maintain conceptual and logical data models specific to project needs.
- Create and manipulate schemas for biological datasets while applying established ontologies and data standards.
- Maintain high-quality, consistent data across multiple sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on data curation standards.
- Provide timely updates to stakeholders on project progress.
- Work closely with project managers and developers to enhance curation capabilities.
Qualifications
- Degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proficiency in Python is mandatory.
- Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and databases for data curation.
- Working knowledge of Git, prompt engineering basics, API scraping, and LLMs for scientific curation.
- Knowledge of clinical data exchange standards such as OMOP, FHIR, and HL7.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and adept in biological data management.
Good to Have
- 1+ year of data curation experience in the life sciences industry.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar).
