About the Job
As a Junior Scientific Writer, you will support the development of high-quality scientific and medical content. Your responsibilities include creating educational materials, managing publication processes, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and supporting scientific communication strategies.
Main Responsibilities
People:
- Build effective relationships with the medical and scientific community.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals on publication content.
- Share knowledge and assist fellow writers.
Performance:
- Deliver medical education materials (slides, abstracts, posters, manuscripts) within deadlines.
- Provide strategic support to individuals and institutions for publication purposes.
Process:
- Develop and review medical publications and educational content.
- Conduct a comprehensive publication needs analysis.
- Implement elements of the annual publication plan.
- Work with vendors to ensure timely deliverables.
- Improve course content and delivery using end-user feedback.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work with scientific communication teams to identify publication needs.
- Liaise with Product Managers, MSLs, and medical teams to prepare customized deliverables.
About You
- Experience: 2+ years in medical or scientific content creation (pharma, healthcare, or academia).
- Education: Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or related field (or medical degree).
- Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder management, and ability to work independently and in teams.
- Technical: Domain knowledge in therapeutic areas, publication submissions, and project management.
- Language: Excellent written and spoken English.
