Job Purpose
The Assay Biologist will be part of
the Assay Biology group and support various assay development activities in Bangalore.Key Responsibilities
- Develop cell-based assays, optimization, and validation in multiple assay formats.
- Conduct biochemical and enzyme-based assay development.
- Perform screening of small and large molecule compounds.
- Carry out data analysis and prepare reports.
- Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices to ensure lab and workplace safety.
Educational Qualification
- M.Sc/M.Tech in Biological Sciences
Technical / Functional Skills
- Expertise in mammalian cell culture.
- Hands-on experience with TR-FRET, HTRF, Fluorescence Intensity, AlphaScreen, Radioactive, and Luminescence-based assays.
- Proficiency in ELISA and Luminex-based assays for cytokine estimations.
- Experience with human primary cells and tissue samples.
- Knowledge of RT-PCR and Western blotting (desirable).
- Experience in Flow Cytometry and immune-phenotyping (desirable).
- Strong data analysis and presentation skills using GraphPad Prism, Excel-fit, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to plan, multitask, and work in cross-functional teams.
Experience

M.Sc./M.Tech. with 3 to 8 years of relevant experience
