Role Description

IISc Bangalore is inviting applications for a full-time on-site internship focused on studying the adaptive behaviour of troglomorphic species in India. This position is based at the Centre for Ecological Sciences and may involve fieldwork components.

Qualifications

  • Background in biological sciences (zoology, life sciences, ecology, or related disciplines).
  • Basic laboratory skills in DNA extraction are essential.
  • Familiarity with evolutionary or molecular tools is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Prior field experience (sampling, ecological surveys, or related activities) will be an added advantage.

Internship Details

  • Duration: Minimum 3 months.

  • Stipend: Unpaid.

  • Location: Centre for Ecological Sciences, IISc Bangalore, with potential field components.
