Requirement

Purpose of Position
The Trainee Microbiologist will be responsible for
conducting microbiological sampling and analysis of water, food, and environmental samples in accordance with national and international standards, method validations, SOPs, and laboratory accreditation requirements.Major Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological sampling and sample collection nationwide.
- Conduct microbiological analysis following proper training.
- Assist in day-to-day tasks, including sampling, analysis, and data submission.
- Maintain technical records, calibration, consumables, and equipment.
- Ensure housekeeping, hygiene, and safety in the microbiology laboratory.
Roles & Responsibilities for HSE
- Comply with BV Cardinal Safety Rules and company HSE requirements.
- Promote health and safety practices and report any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate in improving HSE aspects for a safer work environment.
Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)
- Demonstrate expertise in microbiology laboratory procedures and sampling.
- Adhere to timelines, HSE norms, and quality system guidelines.
- Maintain sampling records, participate in outside sampling jobs, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure 100% traceability of the sample and chemical storage.
