Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support the execution of its medical affairs strategy across the North Zone.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain insights into therapeutic practices, medicines, and trends through customer engagement, scientific symposia, and journals.
- Provide concise, clear, and credible medical information to internal and external stakeholders, positioning Boehringer Ingelheim Medical as a trusted partner.
- Lead and support medical projects such as IIS studies to ensure efficient collaboration with healthcare networks.
- Contribute to local medico-marketing strategy implementation.
- Identify and engage external experts (EEs) and key opinion leaders (KOLs), ensuring regular feedback to management.
- Provide medical expertise for new product/indication registration through presentations, scientific rationale, and literature review.
- Support regulatory authorities, NGOs, and media with accurate medical communication for marketed products.
- Prepare and review product labeling documents as per SOPs.
- Collaborate with regulatory affairs for EE access when required.
Requirements
- Education: Medical degree (MD in Pharmacology preferred) or life sciences qualification.
- Experience: 0–3 years in pharma/healthcare. Fresh MD graduates may apply; candidates without doctoral degrees require 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong scientific expertise in diabetes therapy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office tools.
