Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Microbiologist to join our team in Kolkata.
This role is ideal for candidates eager to start or advance their career in pharmaceutical microbiology, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in quality control and microbial testing. Candidates from West Bengal are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Microbial Limit Testing (MLT) of pharmaceutical finished goods.
• Perform water testing for purified and potable water as per regulatory standards.
• Prepare media and manage autoclave sterilization processes.
• Handle culture techniques and maintain master cultures.
• Document results and communicate effectively with the QC and production teams.
Requirements:
• Educational Requirement: M.Sc. in Microbiology.
• Experience: 0–2 years in pharmaceutical microbiology/quality control (freshers encouraged).
• Technical Skills: Microbial testing, culture handling, sterilization techniques.
• Soft Skills: Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Preference: Candidates from West Bengal will be given priority.
