Essential Job Duties

• Learns to check data to assure quality standards are met and to verify compliance to applicable SOP and regulatory requirements.
• Seeks to expand knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g. GLPs), SOP requirements, and other guidance documents. Applies knowledge to data checking tasks.
• Learns to utilize appropriate systems and programs for check of electronic data.
• Works with a mentor while working with others to resolve discrepancies before they become deviations.
• Conducts timely and accurate quality control (QC) for study related data, tables, graphs, and any other documents that need QC.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Regulatory & Quality

• Develop a thorough working knowledge of national and international GLP/GCP regulations and their application to the work area.
• Accept responsibility for own GLP/GCP compliance.

Training/Mentoring

• Assist with basic training of new team members.
• Familiarity with LIMS, especially Watson LIMS is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Experience: 0 – 6 months of experience required

Qualification: Bachelors / Masters degree in life sciences required.
