Key Responsibilities
As a Manager 2 – Biotechnology, you will be responsible for:
- Upstream process development, including cell culture and fermentation.
- Conducting shake flask studies with sample analysis and documentation.
- Handling and operating bioreactors for cell culture and microbial experiments.
- Aseptic handling and maintenance of seed inoculum.
- Preparing media and feed independently for process studies.
- Troubleshooting deviations from process parameters.
- Performing cell culture in-process quality control (IPQC) analysis.
- Drafting and maintaining SOPs, and supporting equipment qualification and calibration.
- Ensuring quality compliance in the biotechnology upstream laboratory. Freshers have an excellent opportunity to take on managerial responsibilities in the biotechnology field.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: PhD in Biotechnology or a related discipline.
- Experience: 0–1 year (fresh PhD holders may apply).
