Education
MSc Food Technology, or Dairy Technology.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in the Food, Beverage, or FMCG industries.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and ISO systems.
- Preferably familiar with HACCP, AIB, and TPM.
Job Description
As an SC QC Associate Coordinator at PepsiCo, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards for products while minimizing customer complaints. The position requires implementing robust quality control systems, conducting inspections, troubleshooting during production, and ensuring compliance with internal and external audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct stringent online quality control checks and finished product inspections.
- Implement quality control standards for processes, systems, and environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues to minimize wastage and ensure quality output.
- Maintain GMP, GHK, and GLP standards, and support internal/external audits (HACCP, AIB, personal hygiene, and process audits).
- Perform root cause and failure analysis for defects and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct visual inspections and ensure all machine parameters (Peelers, Fryers, Slicer, Chip Conveyors, Seasoning Tumbler) are within specifications.
- Ensure optimum fryer oil utilization by conducting 4-hourly checks on quality, taste, and odor.
- Compare oil test results against gold standards to determine the optimal mix of fresh and blended oil.
