BSc Biology Graduates Job Description
As a Clinical Data Specialist at IQVIA, you will provide essential data management expertise to the Clinical Data Management (CDM) team. This role involves delivering efficient, high-quality data management solutions that align with customer needs. You may also support leadership activities under the supervision of a Data Operations Coordinator (DOC), Data Team Lead (DTL), or Functional Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a Data Operations Coordinator (DOC) for one protocol or multiple laboratory studies.
- Take the lead in specific data management tasks, such as coding, testing, or database design.
- Provide backup support to DOC or DTL when required.
- Conduct clinical data reviews and resolve data clarifications.
- Lead database audit teams as needed.
- Develop and test databases, including edit specifications.
- Perform clinical data coding and programming testing.
- Follow standard operating procedures and meet assigned objectives.
- Build effective communication and teamwork across the CDM team.
BSc Biology Graduates Job – Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Clinical, Biological, or a related field (or equivalent education, training, and experience).
Experience and Skills
- 2–5+ years in clinical data management or related field.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office and relevant tools).
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams, managers, and clients.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
