Biology Research Associate Opportunity – Eligibility Criteria

  • Essential Qualification:
    • Ph.D. degree in Biology with a focus on Cancer Biology and oncogenic signal transduction pathways.
    • Candidates who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting the Ph.D. award may also apply.
    • Evidence of high-quality research during or after the Ph.D. program is required.
  • Desirable Expertise:
    • Experience in culturing Multiple Myeloma cell lines.
    • Strong understanding of Jak-STAT and NF-κB signaling pathways.
    • Skills in molecular cloning, lentiviral gene knockdown/knockout/overexpression, and flow cytometry.
    • Prior work with protein-protein interactions and ChIP assays.
  • Age Limit: Not more than 38 years as of the closing date.

Fellowship

  • ₹58,000/- + 9% HRA per month (with Ph.D. certificate).
  • ₹42,000/- + 9% HRA per month (if thesis submitted, awaiting viva).
  • A nominal research grant will also be provided under this program.

Tenure

  • Initially for 6 months, with the option to extend for an additional 6 months based on performance.
  • The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
