Role Overview
The Communication Specialist I will be responsible for preparing regulatory-compliant Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for global clients across regions including US, EU, Canada, and other international markets. This role requires strong scientific knowledge, regulatory compliance expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

- Author SDS/Labels compliant with international regulations (REACH, GHS, OSHA, WHMIS, IATA, IMDG, ADR, TDG, DOT).
- Research supplier SDS and reconcile discrepancies across data sources.
- Evaluate toxicological, chemical, environmental, and physical properties of substances and products.
- Perform quality control and compliance reviews of SDS/Labels prepared by peers.
- Deliver consulting services including regulatory training, compliance reviews, and documentation.
Biology Jobs at Sphera – Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Environmental Sciences, Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: 1–5 years in regulatory affairs, toxicology, product stewardship, or related fields.
- Familiarity with EHS regulatory software and global chemical safety standards.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and regulatory documentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple deadlines.
