About the Role
As a STEM Content Specialist – Toxicology, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting deep analysis of scientific literature to define adverse effects of chemicals on living organisms.
- Acting as a toxicology subject matter expert, guiding colleagues in interpreting complex data.
- Verify and organize data in Clarivate’s Systems Biology database (MetaBase).
- Supporting automated workflows, identifying process improvements, and ensuring data quality.
- Using SQL queries to correct and optimize database entries.
- Staying updated on the latest toxicology, pharmacology, and systems biology trends.
Key Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or life sciences.
- Master’s or PhD with laboratory research experience in toxicology or pharmacology.
Required Skills:
- Strong foundation in toxicological research (experiment design, data analysis, results interpretation).
- Knowledge of cellular and molecular biology processes and pathology.
- Ability to interpret and explain large scientific datasets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new tools quickly.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with databases and relational models.
- Familiarity with SQL, R, or Python.
- AI knowledge at user/prompting level.
- Ability to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary global team.
