Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from eligible Indian Nationals for the following project positions.

Project Title: Mission Program on Pediatric Rare Genetic Disorders (Funded by DBT)
Project Investigator: Dr. P V Ramchander
Position: Project Associate-I
Emoluments:
(i) Remuneration Rs. 31,000/- + 16% HRA (for candidates who cleared National Eligibility Tests like CSIR UGC-NET including LS-NET or GATE or any National level examinations conducted by Government Departments or their agencies/Institutions like DBT, DST, ICMR, DAE etc.)
(ii) Rs. 25,000/- + 16% HRA (for others who do not fall under (i) above).
Essential Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / M.V.Sc. or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent. Candidates having experience in human molecular genetics, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology and/or bioinformatics be given preference.
Age Limit:
The candidate should be below 35 years in age, as on 16.10.2025. An age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India rules.Application Instructions:
