Job Details
Job Title: Team Lead – ADME Scientist
Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad
Custom Field 1: Discovery Services
Educational Qualification:
A Ph.D. or Postdoctoral experience in pharmaceutical or biological sciences, or an M Pharm in pharmaceutical science.
Experience:
A Ph.D. in pharmaceutical or biological sciences with 3-6 years of experience, or an M Pharm with over fifteen years of industrial experience in DMPK/ADME research.
Core Purpose of the Role:
- Conduct in vitro ADME experiments and mentor junior team members.
- Interact with cross-functional teams and external collaborators as an ADME subject matter expert.
- Responsible for generating high-quality data and identifying new technologies for ADME sciences.
Role Accountabilities:
- Plan and execute in vitro ADME assays.
- Manage a team of 5-10 members.
- Collaborate with scientific groups to design studies.
- Automate in vitro ADME assays and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Technical/Functional Skills:
- Expertise in in vitro ADME assays and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in software tools like Microsoft Excel and GraphPad Prism.
- Cross-functional leadership capabilities and experience with automation are desirable.
Behavioral Skills:
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Commitment to meeting project deadlines and adapting to changing environments.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration and presentation purposes.
