Job Purpose:
Looking for a candidate with experience in mammalian cell culture. The candidate will be a part of the Cell Engineering team working on generating stable cell lines to be used as tools or for production purposes in a fast-paced work environment that offers growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generation of stable cell lines and Knockout and Knock-In for production purposes
- Characterization of cell lines using flow cytometry, western blotting, and ELISA techniques
- Experiment design, planning, and documentation of data and inventory maintenance
Educational Qualification:
Ph.D. in Life Sciences relevant to cell line and clone development with 1-8+ years of post-PhD experience in Cell and Molecular biology. CRO experience is a plus.
Technical/Functional Skills:
- Experience with stable cell line generation, lentivirus, and/or retrovirus generation
- Experience with genome editing, reporter cell lines, molecular biology techniques, and flow cytometry
- Attention to detail, diligent documentation, and efficient communication skills
Behavioural Skills:
Good work ethic, interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment with problem-solving capabilities.
