Role Description
Drepto Biodevices is seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join our R&D team focused on developing innovative transdermal smart patches. The Scientist will play a key role in designing, executing, and analyzing experiments to advance drug delivery formulations and biomedical instrumentation. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the continuous innovation of biomedical devices.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, plan, and conduct experiments related to transdermal drug delivery systems.
• Develop and refine drug delivery formulations, focusing on patch-based technologies.
• Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and prepare detailed reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including biomedical engineers, chemists, and regulatory experts.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and quality standards.
• Document all experimental work accurately and maintain research records.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in drug delivery, biomedical instrumentation, and smart medical devices.
• Contribute to innovation and problem-solving in formulation and device development.
Qualifications & Skills
• PhD in Drug Delivery, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology
, Pharmacology, or related field.• Minimum 1 year of experience in drug delivery formulation development (academic or industrial).
• Strong expertise in experimental design, data analysis, and research methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in drug delivery systems, patch-based drug delivery, and biomedical instrumentation (preferred).
• Knowledge of documentation practices and regulatory compliance in biomedical R&D.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
