Job Description
Applications are invited from suitable candidates (Indian Citizens) for one position of Project Associate –I in the ANRF-funded project entitled, “Unraveling the Mechanism of blue light-mediated endoplasmic reticulum stress responses in plants” of Dr. Moumita Srivastava, Scientist –C, at RGCB, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

First Class Postgraduate MSc Degree in Life Sciences (Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry or related fields).
Desirable Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in plant tissue culture.
- Proficiency in Western blotting, PCR, and microbial culture techniques.
Age Limit
- Below 28 years as of 26 August 2025.
- Age relaxation as per Government of India norms.
Emoluments
- ₹37,000/- + 16% HRA per month (for National Eligibility Test qualified candidates).
- ₹30,000/- + 16% HRA per month (for non-NET qualified candidates).
- Hostel facilities will not be provided.
Duration
Initially one year, extendable based on performance until the end of the project.
Selection Process
