Project Title:
Understanding mechanisms of GPCR promiscuity in neuromodulation using Caenorhabditis elegans homologue of cholecystokinin receptor 1 (CKR-1) as a prototype GPCR
Position: Junior Research Fellow (One)
Duration: Initial appointment for 1 year; extendable up to 3 years, with the possibility of an SRF position in the third year, depending on satisfactory yearly performance
Stipend and other allowances:
At par with NET/GATE/BET qualified candidates, as per DST OM No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30/01/2019

Minimum Qualifications:
- M.Sc. in any discipline of Life Sciences with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized board/University.
- Applicants SHOULD have at least one of the following: GATE / UGC-CSIR NET (JRF/LS) / DBT-JRF (Category I / II) or equivalents.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in Molecular Biology/Model Organism/Genetics/Cell Biology/Neuroscience and willing to join the PhD program at Amity University.
Age Limit: 30 years<
