Project title: “Identification of Components from Indian Foods as Hepatoprotective Agents for Bile Secretion, Liver Regeneration and Effect on Gut Microbiome in Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease”

Job description

(i) To perform experiments on clinical samples, and follow up details of all patients under the guidance of PI.
(ii) To maintain records of data related to the project
(iii) To update data of patients
(iv) To attend workshops related to the project on extracellular vesicles.
(v) To write manuscripts

Eligibility

Essential: Post Graduate in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or any other relevant discipline from a recognized institution. NET/GATE qualification or any national eligibility test is mandatory.
OR
Desirable: M.Sc. with minimum 60% marks. With experience in Flow Cytometry, metagenomics and animal handling will be preferred.

Age Limit 35 years

Remuneration Rs 31,000 + HRA

Note:

2. The appointment under the project shall be on “contract basis” for the period of 12 months and may be extended depending on the project extension and performance of the candidate.
3. The effective date for reckoning the requisite qualification, experience and the upper age limit will be on 30th July 2025.
4. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/skill test in the Institute. The shortlisted candidates will be required to bring all their photocopies of degree/certificate/diploma/testimonials along with their printed application form.
