Looking to contribute to impactful COVID-19 research? Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is hiring a Project Associate-I to work on a government-funded project targeting ARDS and pulmonary fibrosis in COVID-19. If you hold a Master’s in Life Sciences and are ready to work in a BSL3 facility, this is your chance to be part of vital national research.
Title of Project: Dietary Alpha-Ketoglutarate as a potential therapeutic against acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and pulmonary fibrosis in Covid-19 infection. Mission COVID Suraksha under BIRAC, Govt. of India.
Duration: Till the duration of the project i.e. till 13th November 2025, and extendable till 31st March, 2026.
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Life Sciences or related natural science disciplines from recognized Universities or equivalent, with at least 60% marks.
Essential Requirement: Candidates are willing to work on COVID-19 virus at BSL3 facility after related training.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience of working at 1) BSL3 facility. A certificate of related experience (from concerned principal investigator) should be uploaded. Any National Level JRF eligibility test such as NET, GATE, etc. qualified.
