The Institute for Stem Cell Science & Regenerative Medicine (www.instem.res.in), Bangalore is an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. BRIC-inStem’s mandate is to establish collaborative research programs in the field of stem cell biology, regeneration, and repair in development and disease, with an emphasis on translation. To develop strengths in focused areas, research at BRIC-inStem is driven through collaborative interdisciplinary teams, addressing questions that are beyond the scope of a single laboratory.
BRIC-inStem invites applications (online) from eligible candidates for contractual position of following Scientific position under the MK Bhan – Young Investigator Fellowship Program awarded to Dr. Arthi Sunil and based in the laboratory of Prof. Praveen Vemula. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are result-oriented, can assimilate, analyze and communicate data effectively and are excellent team players capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.

Master’s degree in Science from a recognised university with at least 1 year of experience | – Perform research requiring cell biology techniques including primary cell culture, microscopy, molecular biology techniques, and cell-based assays.
Experience in Material Science to prepare samples and analyze by SEM, mechanical testing, and physio-chemical characterization is a plus.- Perform surgical procedures in rats. Regular data analyses, project updates, literature surveys, and presentations on the target. |
Tenure: Contractual appointment for 8 (Eight) months, renewable based on requirement and review of progress and requirement of the Grant.
