The Process Engineer at Cepheid is responsible for driving continuous process
performance improvements related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost of manufacturing processes or lines. This role involves working on continuous improvement initiatives, equipment/process performance, validations, and problem-solving to enhance throughput capacity and efficiency.Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies for continuous process improvement
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure process optimization
- Lead equipment and product installation and validation processes
- Document processes in compliance with regulatory standards
- Implement cost reduction initiatives across equipment and labor
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biotechnology or related engineering fields
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the Medical Device/IVD sectors
- Strong background in equipment and product validation for medical device manufacturing
- Experience in working in regulated environments (ISO, GMP, Medical Device regulations)
