Job Description:
CFTRI is hiring for the position of Project Associate – I (PAT-I) to work on the project titled “Scale up and industrial applications of native and chimeric forms of endo-1,4-β-mannanase (ManB-1601)” (Project Code: MMP025201). The engagement is purely temporary, initially up to 31 March 2026, and is extendable by one year based on project needs and candidate performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct experiments related to enzymology, cloning, and expression of enzymes
- Carry out enzyme production in bioreactors
- Participate in industrial application studies of enzymes
- Work within the Department of Microbiology and Fermentation Technology
Qualifications:
- First-class M.Sc. in Microbiology or Biotechnology
- NET/GATE qualification preferred
- Experience in enzyme technology and bioprocesses will be an advantage
Age Limit:
- Maximum: 35 years as of 11.08.2025
- Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women, 3 years for OBC candidates
Stipend & Benefits:
- ₹31,000/- + HRA (for NET/GATE qualified candidates)
- ₹25,000/- + HRA (for others)
