Qualifications for MSc Biotechnology Jobs At CFTRI
For Project Associate – II (PAT-II):
- M.Sc. in Botany, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in R&D in industrial/academic institutions or science & tech organizations.
- Desirable: Tissue culture, metabolite extraction, food formulation.
For Senior PAT:
- M.Sc. in Botany, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology with 3 years’ experience in R&D
OR - Doctoral Degree in any Life Science/Food Science & Nutrition field with 2 years’ relevant experience.
- Desirable: Tissue culture, metabolite extraction, food formulation.
Important Notes & Terms
- Upper age limits: 35 (PAT-II) & 40 (Senior PAT) as of 04.08.2025.
- Applicants who’ve completed 6 years in CSIR projects are not eligible.
- Candidates awaiting results are not eligible.
- Selection will be based on shortlisting criteria such as marks, higher qualifications, or relevant experience.
- Posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- No TA/DA will be provided for interviews.
