g up the various posts on CONTRACT basis for the GOI-MOHFW funded project entitled “4th National Tobacco Testing Laboratory under NTCP” under Dr. Priyamvada Sharma, Associate Professor, Department of C.P.N.T and Principal Investigator.Post I
1) Name of the post: Senior Scientific Officer (Grade II)
No. of post: 1 (One)
Essential qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry /Biochemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry /Sciences or M. Pharma with five years of research experience on tobacco products
Desirable: 3 years of research experience in natural products/synthesis/analysis of organic compounds/Biochemical/Pharmaceutical Sciences
Maximum age limit: 45 years
Emoluments: Rs.60,000/- (consolidated)
Duration of the post: 1 year
Initial appointment will be made for 6 months, extendable based on performance of the candidate.

Desirable: 5 years post-degree research experience on handling analytical equipment/ synthetic reagents
Maximum age limit: 45 years
Emoluments: Rs.58,000/- (consolidated)
Duration of the post: 1 year
Initial appointment will be made for 6 months, extendable based on performance of the candidate.

Job Description: To carry out the scientific work on the instrument analysis and tobacco protocol development or any other work assigned by the Officer In-charge.
