Educational Qualifications: Master’s Degree in any biological/physical/computational sciences stream. The candidate must have qualified for at least one national-level examination after the Master’s degree. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in single-cell RNAseq library preparation and analysis, advanced molecular biology techniques, including qRT-PCR, western blot, and transcriptome analysis.
We will also consider candidates with strong skills in bioinformatics (with publications in reputed journals). If a bioinformatics specialist, the candidate is expected to have strong skills and competence in R and Python (GitHub links with the substantial work already done must be provided). Codes done as part of tutorials will not be considered.
Job description:
To perform single-cell RNAseq experiments and analysis, and bulk transcriptome analysis. The candidate should be able to write custom codes for the analysis in R and python.Emoluments: The selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments as per Institute Rules, depending upon qualifications & experience
Rs. 42,000/- per month plus 27% HRA (As per norms of the funding agency)
General Terms & Conditions:
- The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or duration of the project whichever is shorter, at a time.
- No hostel/ housing facility will be provided.
- Applicants may clearly mention the category they belong to i.e. SC/ST/OBC/PH and attach documentary proof of the same.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, if called for.
- Apart from sending application in the prescribed format given below, candidates should send complete Curriculum Vitae along with the names of three referees. Curriculum Vitae should contain details of the experimental expertise and list of publications.
- Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
- The Interviews will be held in offline/online mode.
