Job Summary:
The Research Supervisor/Field Investigator will assist in executing project activities under the Vitamin A and D fortification programming initiative. The role involves training and supporting field staff, collecting, consolidating, and analyzing data, ensuring proper reporting
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and support field staff in collecting accurate data.
- Consolidate data, conduct analysis, and prepare reports.
- Support food, dietary, and clinical assessments.
- Take informed consent/assent from parents/participants.
- Maintain data records and review completed forms for accuracy.
- Obtain missing or questionable data as needed.
- Ensure timely reporting of field activities to the Research Coordinator.
- Work in community settings during fieldwork phases.
Qualifications & Skills:
Essential:
- Graduate degree in Biosciences (Food Science, Nutrition, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry).
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in handling nutritional projects and market/community research projects.
- Strong attention to detail with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in nutrition and understanding of the regulatory environment/fortification.
- Experience conducting research in consumer groups.
