Key Responsibilities
● Conduct soil microbiology analysis using microscopy and plating techniques.
● Identify and characterize soil microbial species (fungi, bacteria, protozoa, nematodes).
● Support soil food web diagnostics and soil health testing.
● Prepare, maintain, and monitor microbial cultures and inoculants.
● Assist in developing biofertilizers, compost teas, and regenerative soil inputs.
● Maintain detailed lab records, observations, and reports.
● Work with agronomists and field teams to apply lab findings in practical farming solutions.
● Follow safe and sterile lab practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills
● M.Sc. in Microbiology – Soil / Environmental preferred)
● Hands-on experience with microscopes, plating, and microbial identification.
● Knowledge of soil microbial ecology and its agricultural applications.
● Familiarity with regenerative agriculture concepts (or willingness to learn).
● Strong documentation and reporting skills.
● Ability to work independently and in a team.
● Passion for sustainability, farming, and soil regeneration.
