Project Title: Unraveling the Mechanism of Blue Light-Mediated Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress Responses in Plants
Principal Investigator: Dr. Moumita Srivastava, Scientist –C
Location: Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala
Essential Qualifications
- First Class Post-Graduate MSc Degree in Life Sciences (Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry, etc)
Desirable Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in plant tissue culture
- Proficiency in Western blotting, PCR, and microbial culture
Age
- Below 28 years as of Aug 26, 2025. Age relaxation as per the Govt. of India norms.
Emoluments
- ₹ 37,000/- + 16% HRA per month for National Eligibility Tests qualified candidates
- ₹ 30,000/- + 16% HRA for candidates not qualified for the National Eligibility Exam
- Hostel Facilities will not be provided
Duration
- Initially, for one year, extendable till termination of the project based on performance
