We are seeking a Field Applications Scientist in India to join the Applications Support team. This technical role involves providing pre-sales presentations, seminars, and technical calls while supporting customers in experimental design, software use, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to deliver high-quality technical expertise and support.
- Assist with advanced customer inquiries, focusing on ONT’s sequencing technology.
- Organize and participate in seminars, exhibitions, and on-site training sessions.
- Manage key customer relationships from a technical perspective.
- Document technical inquiries and support activities in CRM systems.
- Monitor competition and report market trends.
Qualifications:
- PhD or equivalent experience in life sciences with lab expertise in molecular biology, genetics, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of experimental design, sample preparation (DNA isolation, fragmentation), and data analysis.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Experience with R, Python, or data visualization tools is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel frequently across India.
