Primary Responsibilities
- Performing QA audits for multiple projects
- Developing effective QA sampling & audit methodology for assigned projects
- Conducting root cause analysis, identifying knowledge gaps, and providing training
- Reviewing scope documents & guidelines for new clients and ensuring project delivery meets client SLA on quality
- Customizing coding guidelines and conducting training sessions on audit protocols
- Responding to internal coding queries with a proper rationale
- Ensuring compliance with external and internal standards
Required Qualifications
- Educational Background: Degree in Life Sciences
- Certifications: Valid AAPC or AHIMA certification
- Experience: 3+ years of HCC Risk Adjustment Coding
- Knowledge of risk adjustment models – Medicare & Commercial
- Familiarity with coding standards and guidelines
