Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized candidate to join our team as a Junior Academic Advisor. This role is crucial in supporting pupils’ academic success and personal development by providing comprehensive academic advice to medics, scientists, researchers, interns, and working professionals.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist fellows/pupils in course selection and registration for academic programs.
- Provide individualized academic advising to help fellows/pupils achieve their academic goals.
- Participate in planning and executing onboarding programs, workshops, and events.
- Refer fellows/pupils to appropriate resources when needed.
- Assist in admissions, onboarding, and organizing academic events.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and advising sessions.
- Offer guidance on academic policies and resources.
- Stay updated on best practices in academic advising.
- Complete mandatory training within specified timelines.
- Prepare reports on advising activities and program outcomes.
- Maintain and update records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Science disciplines.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Desire to be part of a collaborative team.
- Good interpersonal skills and enthusiasm.
- Ability to manage schedules effectively.
- Understanding of fundamental sales principles.
