Roles & Responsibilities:
The lab led by Dr. Sachin Deshmukh is focused on investigating hippocampal function through in vivo recordings in freely behaving rodents. The Project Associate I will be responsible for designing recording implants, software development, neural recordings, and data analysis
.Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field or life sciences with programming abilities.
- Prior experience working with rodents is preferred but not required.
- Ability to program (Python/C/ C++/MATLAB or any other language).
Tenure: This is a one-year contract role with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance evaluation.
Compensation: Salary: Rs 37,000 per month for CSIR-UGC NET or GATE qualifiers, Rs 30,000 per month for others + HRA (if applicable).
