Job Details:

Number and Duration: 1 position, from 31st July 2025 to 30th July 2029

Emoluments per Month:

Qualifications:

Essential Qualification:– Doctoral degree in Science with specialization in Plant Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, or any other related field from a recognized university or equivalent;
– 3 years of experience in research and development

Desirable Qualification: Experience in molecular biology and bioinformatics tools and techniques, as proven by published research papers.

Upper Age Limit: 35 years

Project Name: Mapping and mobilization of leaf rust resistance genes from Indian landraces to broaden the genetic base for improvement of wheat varieties

Place: Division of Genomic Resources, Room number G206, NBPGR New building, New Delhi

Tentative Date of Interview: 18th August 2025
