Preferred Qualifications: A year’s degree in BSc MLT/medical microbiology/general microbiology + one year of experience in the relevant subject

Salary: Rs. 23,400/- per month

Brief Description about the Project: This is a multicenter study initiated by ICMR focusing on women
suffering from recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis (RVVC). The study aims to understand the use of antifungal drugs, the behavior of vaginal bacteria/fungi, and genetic and immune factors in women with RVVC.Roles and Responsibilities:
- Processing and storage of samples received, and maintenance of laboratory records, including quality control procedures
- Culture and identification of fungi (Candida species)
- Antifungal susceptibility testing methods
- Processing of blood samples for component separation
- Molecular work
- Obtain clinical details of recruited patients
- Assist in research activities about Mycology
- Data entry and correspondence with ICMR
