Job Description
This role will support the AMESA Supplier Quality Assurance team by conducting annual re-approvals for designated low-risk suppliers in AMESA who provide ingredients to PepsiCo. Responsibilities include
contacting suppliers, reviewing prerequisite data and documents, maintaining databases, and supporting various SQA programs. Approximately 200 supplier sites will be managed per year.Functional Responsibilities
- Utilize the SQA Trackwise database for supplier site re-approvals planning
- Contact suppliers and request the necessary documentation for re-approval
- Update databases with supplier information and maintain data governance
- Create audit records for supplier sites and maintain progress metrics
- Support ancillary programs like food fraud questionnaire and supplier performance management
- Help prepare data for GFSI audits
Eligibility & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Food Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Lead Auditor training (must be completed prior to joining or shortly after).
- 1–2 years of experience in QA/QC, Regulatory, or technical roles in FMCG or the food industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to navigate databases (SAP, specifications systems).
- Strong understanding of food safety, microbiology, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
- Fluent in English.
