The CSIR–Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysuru, has announced a vacancy for the position of Senior Project Associate (Senior PAT) under the project Analytical Activities under Customer Service & RFL (TSP 56). This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with an M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science & Technology, or a Doctoral Degree in Life Sciences to contribute to high-impact research in food analysis, testing, and R&D.

Educational Qualification
Applicants must have:
-
M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science & Technology, or equivalent with 3 years’ experience OR Qualified Food Analyst
OR -
Doctoral Degree in Science (Life Sciences, Food Science & Nutrition, or equivalent) with 2 years of R&D experience OR Qualified Food Analyst
Desirable Experience
-
Hands-on experience in food analysis, oils and fats, and the use of modern analytical instruments.

Knowledge of MS Office tools.

Preference for candidates with a qualified Food Analyst certification.
Eligibility and Terms

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as of 30.08.2025 (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Women as per rules).

Engagement is purely temporary, co-terminus with the project, and does not guarantee permanent employment at CSIR-CFTRI/CSIR.
