Subject: Display of Provisional Answer Keys with recorded response for ‘Answer Key Challenge’ of (Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination) June-2025.

1. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination, June-2025 on 28th July 2025 in 416 Examination Centres located in 218 Cities across the Country for 1,95,241 Candidates in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

2. Provisional Answer Key with the Candidates Recorded Responses has been uploaded on the website for inviting challenges (if any) to the Provisional Answer Key of any question ONLINE only. The Procedure for challenge of the Answer Key is enclosed at ANNEXURE-I.

3. Candidates, who are not satisfied with the ANSWER Key, may challenge the same by paying a fee* 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) per question challenged as a non-refundable processing fee. The details for Answer Key Challenge are given below:

4. The payment of the processing fee may be paid through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI Payment Modes till 03.08.2025 (upto 11:50pm). No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee. The fee towards the challenge will not be accepted through any other mode. The Challenges will not be entertained through any other mode other than the online.

5. Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by a panel of Subject Experts. If the challenges of any candidates is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidates will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The Key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final.

Procedure for Challenge of Answer Key of the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination June -2025

1. Please go to NTA website https://csirnet.nta.ac.in/
2. Click ‘Challenge (s) regarding Answer Key
3. Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth and enter the security pin as displayed and submit.
4. Click on “View Answer Sheet” for marked responses and to view or challenge the Answer keys, click on the link “Challenge” button to view provisional answer keys and challenge the questions.
5. You will see Question IDs in sequential order:

6. The ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option(s)’ stands for the correct Answer Key to be used by NTA. The Dropped Questions are highlighted and not for challenge.

7. If you wish to challenge this option, you may use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box.

8. You may upload supporting documents in which you can select ‘Choose File’ and upload (all documents to be put in a single pdf file).

9. After clicking your desired option, scroll down, ‘Submit and review Claims’ and move to the next screen.

10. You will see a display of all the Option IDs you have challenged.

11. Click on ‘Modify your Claims’ in case you wish to modify the claims OR ‘Final Submit’.

12. After saving the claims, you will find a screen displaying your Challenges.

13. Kindly pay the fee by clicking on ‘Pay Now’. The claims will be saved finally after successful payment of requisite fee.

14. Select mode of payment and pay your fee @ Rs.200/- for each question challenge. Make payment through Debit/Credit card/Net Banking/UPI.
