Job Description
The Food Safety Auditor will be responsible for conducting comprehensive food safety audits across multiple food service setups in alignment with FSSAI guidelines. The role requires close inspection of hygiene, sanitation, and process compliance, as well as training teams to meet food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities for Microbiology Jobs at Hungerbox
- Conduct audits of Food Business Operators in line with FSSAI standards.
- Verify legal compliance under the FSS Act and regulations.
- Conduct audits in various settings, including catering, base kitchens, and live kitchens.
- Follow up on non-conformance closures from internal and external audits.
- Analyze complaints and non-conformities and ensure effective resolution.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions implemented.
- Conduct food safety and hygiene training sessions for staff.
Qualifications for Microbiology Jobs at Hungerbox
Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or Biotechnology from a recognized university.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Accredited Lead Auditor Course in Food Safety Management Systems (ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000).
- Certified Internal Auditor in ISO 22000 / HACCP.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the FSS Act and associated regulations.
