Job Description
The Department of Soil Science at PAU seeks to hire a Project Assistant to work on the ICAR-funded project titled “Evaluation of efficacy of Sulphur, Magnesium and Micronutrients containing complex fertilizers for maximizing yield through balanced nutrition of important crops grown in India”. The selected candidate will support experimental activities, data collection, and research documentation to assess the performance of fertilizers in enhancing crop productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in field trials and laboratory analysis for soil and crop nutrient evaluation.
- Record and maintain experimental data accurately.
- Support in preparing project reports and research documentation.
- Coordinate with the research team to ensure the smooth execution of project activities.
- Follow safety protocols and standard procedures during research activities.
Qualifications & Skills Required

Essential:
- B.Sc. Agriculture / B.Sc. with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks.
- Punjabi language proficiency up to Matric level.
- Minimum one year of relevant field experience.
- Age between 18 and 40 years.

M.Sc. Agriculture with specialization in Soil Science or related fields.

Remuneration
₹ 15,000/- per month (including ESI + EPF) – fixed.
