Job Opening: Postdoctoral Research Fellow (PDRF)
Position Overview:
IISER Tirupati invites applications from Indian nationals for the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow (PDRF). The selected candidate will work on the project titled “Mechanisms of DNA break and repair in meiosis” under the guidance of Dr. Viji Subramanian in the research area of Genomics and Bioinformatics.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics, Biology, or equivalent.
- Experience in Python and R programming.
- Knowledge of yeast genetics, meiosis, DNA repair, or genome biology is desirable.
Fellowship:
Rs. 58000/- p.m. + 9% HRA (for Ph.D. holders). Rs. 42000/- p.m. + 9% HRA (for candidates awaiting Ph.D. degree).
No. of Position: One
Tenure: Temporary for one year, with a potential extension after the performance review.
Age Limit: Not more than 40 years as of the closing date of the advertisement.
