CDFD, an Institute of the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, invites applications from Indian nationals for the following purely temporary vacancies in research projects funded by National / International agencies at CDFD, like DST/DBT/ICMR/CSIR/ANRF, etc.
Job Details
POST I
Position: Project Associate (PA) – I
Age Limit: 35 years
Emoluments (PA-I):
Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests or a selection process by the Central Government.
Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others.
Essential Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.
POST I
Position: Project Associate (PA) – II
Emoluments (PA-II):
Rs. 35,000/- + HRA for Scholars selected through the specified process
.Rs. 28,000/- + HRA for others.
Essential Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.
Experience: Two years’ experience in R&D Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations, and Scientific Activities and Services.
General Terms and Conditions
- The vacancies shall be filled based on availability, with the possibility of further selections within a year.
- Selected candidates may be placed on a scale lower than advertised based on recommendations and experience.
- Candidates will be expected to carry out research in specific areas.
- These positions are temporary initially for six months or one year.
- Reservation and relaxation criteria will be followed as per the Government of India rules.
