Regulatory Chemist Job at Buckman – Role Purpose
a-start="1448" data-end="1785">As a Regulatory Chemist, you will play a critical role in maintaining and advancing Buckman’s compliance standards. You will be responsible for preparing regulatory documentation, managing product registrations across Asia-Pacific regions, and ensuring that our chemical solutions adhere to global safety and environmental standards.
Regulatory Chemist Job at Buckman – Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue regulatory compliance letters to customers.
- Maintain and update product regulatory databases.
- Obtain regulatory data from suppliers and coordinate technical submissions.
- Develop and implement regulatory strategies for product approvals in the ASEAN region, Australia, and New Zealand.
- Compile and archive regulatory submissions, test reports, and technical files.
- Ensure accurate and updated Safety Data Sheets (SDS) according to GHS and regional regulations.
- Stay updated with changes in global regulatory policies, including REACH, FDA, and Kosher/Halal standards.
- Collaborate with global and local regulatory affairs teams to mitigate risks and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Attend industry conferences to stay informed about policy trends and compliance updates.
Regulatory Chemist Job at Buckman – Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
- 2+ years of regulatory experience in the chemical industry.
- Familiarity with REACH, FDA, GHS, Halal, and Kosher regulatory frameworks.
- Prior experience in Asia-Pacific regulatory processes is highly desirable.
- Strong document management skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; knowledge of Intelligent Authoring is a plus.
- Highly motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
